Embark on an unforgettable journey to the majestic Miravalles Volcano, where adventure and relaxation await. Begin your day with a private transfer from your accommodation to Las Hornillas, a volcanic activity center located at the base of Miravalles Volcano. Upon arrival, you'll board a tractor or horseback for a ride through the scenic terrain to the starting point of our guided hike (Hanging Bridges And Waterfalls). This trail leads you through the secondary crater of the active Miravalles Volcano—a landscape that feels like another planet. Along the way, you'll witness fumaroles, boiling mud pots, and crystallized sulfur formations, offering a fascinating glimpse into the volcanic activity of the region. After the hike, unwind in the therapeutic natural hot springs and indulge in a rejuvenating volcanic mud bath at Las Hornillas. To conclude this memorable experience, enjoy a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch, savoring the authentic flavors of our cuisine. Cancellation Policy
Tropic Transfers and Tours C.R. - Reservation and Cancellation Policy 1. Reservation Process Booking: Reservations must be made at least 24 hours before the service. Payment: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before the service. Payment Methods: We accept credit cards, bank transfers, or cash. Taxes: Prices do not include 13% VAT (Value Added Tax), which will be added to the final amount at the time of payment. 2. Changes and Modifications Changes must be requested at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply for changes. 3. Cancellation Policy More than 72 hours before the tour: Full refund (minus any transaction fees). Between 24–72 hours before the tour: Partial refund (30% cancellation fee). Less than 24 hours before the tour: No refund. No show: No refund and full charge. 4. Special Conditions Adverse Weather or Unforeseen Events: If the service cannot be provided due to weather or other factors, we offer rescheduling or a full refund if rescheduling is not possible. Discounted/Promotional Bookings: Special cancellation terms apply for bookings with discounts or promotions, which will be provided at the time of booking. 5. Customer Responsibility Customers are responsible for verifying booking details (time, location, services) upon confirmation.
